Reception

Julie Carrig – Receptionist

Donna and Julie - our vet nurses

Julie (pictured above right) has over 6 years’ experience working in vets. In fact her very first few weeks of training were working with Ian at his previous practice. She has two cats and two dogs and as a big animal lover, Julie describes her ideal day as “going to the beach and walking with her dogs”.

She has been involved in dog training for 10 years which started after managing her own challenging dogs (Robbie and Hope). Julie is passionate about helping other people not to have the same problems she did by ensuring the right information and training techniques are employed as early as possible. She has trained dogs in Agility and heal-work to music, and has also taken part in many big dog shows. She has experience with rescue dogs and has helped raise puppy farming awareness. In addition Julie has distinctions in Clicker training and has completed advanced dog training and behaviour courses through the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers). She is a qualified APDT instructor.
