Big Bear Award

romeo-big-bearRomeo was a lovely Alaskan Malamute dog, nicknamed Bear. He was a very loving, loyal member of the practice and everybody loved him. Sadly Romeo was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2011. He underwent brain surgery to remove it, but unfortunately he passed away shortly after the operation.

Romeo had a wonderful life with Donna and the Vet4life team and is greatly missed. We wanted to dedicate a bravery award in his memory.

On a regular basis, our staff nominate an animal for the Vet4life Big Bear Award. Of course these are just some of the many brave and lovely pets we see every day. Each day we could write so much about the courage and strength of the animals who have been injured or who are being treated for various illnesses. We also know of the huge sacrifices made by their owners to care for them. Many cases are moving and it can be difficult to choose just one or two but here are a few we hope you enjoy reading about their stories.
