The UK is a nation of pet lovers with an estimated pet population of 9.9 million dogs and 10.9 million cats.
Despite this, new research from Sainsbury’s Bank found 1 in 5 owners regret choosing their pet’s breed. Some of the reasons for pet regret were the owner turned out to be allergic to their cat or dog’s breed (16%) or they simply didn’t like their pet’s personality (18%).
