Vet4Life in south-west London has more than doubled its number of team members since Lead Nurse, Caroline first joined, over a decade ago, and is celebrating her dedicated service.

Caroline Gobetti first stepped through the doors of Vet4Life in Shepperton in April 2012 and has seen the practice grow with new team members.

Caroline said: “When I first started, I was employed as head nurse which I always found funny as I was head nurse to myself!

“However, the team grew the busier we became and I now work with a great team of people including two vets, three nurses including myself and two receptionists, as well as supporting colleagues at our other two practices.

“It is a fantastic place to work and we have lovely clients who I have made wonderful relationships with, seeing their puppies grow up and who are now 10 years old.”

During her time at Vet4Life, Caroline has seen first-hand how the role of veterinary nurses has progressed.

Caroline, who has ambitions to move into surgical nursing, added: “Veterinary nursing has changed a lot over the past 10 years. I feel there is a better understanding of what nurses can do, while Linnaeus practices really support nurses to reach their full potential.

“It means a lot to be an empowered nurse. I feel you are trusted and your skills and qualifications are really used and listened to, making me feel I have great job satisfaction.”

Roxanne O’Brien, practice manager at Vet4Life in Shepperton, said: “Caroline is a credit to the veterinary profession and her commitment to Vet4Life is exemplary.

“All of the team highly regard Caroline’s passion for delivering the very highest levels of patient and client care and look forward to working with her for many more years to come.”

Outside of work, Caroline enjoys keeping fit and baking, and believes in healthy living and wellbeing.
