Marleen

Lead Surgical Veterinary Surgeon

Marleen completed her veterinary degree with the Freie Universität of Berlin, Germany. After graduation, Marleen moved to Sydney, Australia where she completed an internship at an equine referral hospital before relocating to Dublin, Ireland for a surgical internship at the university teaching hospital. During her time in Dublin, Marleen worked as a veterinary surgeon in various hospital settings including small animal emergency clinics and various general practices while simultaneously completing a postgraduate certificate in small animal surgery with the University of Liverpool.

Marleen joined Vet4Life in December 2023 and enjoys all aspects of clinical work, especially orthopaedics and surgery.

In her free time, she enjoys everything active or outdoorsy from Crossfit to horse riding to mountain hiking. She has a rescue cat called Kiki, which she occasionally takes on her mountain hikes.
