We had a superb first week and I am looking forward to the next load of interesting cases that this week will bring. Maybe we can start to use the new x-ray machine or start doing some key-hole surgery?
After 6 months of hard work and planning I have finally opened the doors to 160 High Street Teddington, also known as Vet4Life. I am so pleased with what has been achieved, and I am really proud of the other staff members I have working with me. I know we are going to deliver on our promise of excellence of care for patients and customers alike. Now all I have to do is get my head around the accounts and I will be able to go to bed!

The floor is down, the paint is nearly dry and we can start to get the clinic ready for Monday. There is quite a bit to do over the next couple of days and it is mostly cleaning. There are still no telephone lines which is a real disappointment..... and no sign for the outside of the building...... and no consult room tables..... etc. etc. However, we will be open and ready and smiling!
We are nearly there: Gary Smith (if you ever need a great builder let me know) and his team have been working round the clock to get things finished and up to scratch. Huge amounts of effort time and about 150 litres of paint will go into making this clinic a real pleasure to work in and a great place for the care of your pets.
The prize draw went ahead one day later than planned. An emergency at work (Shepperton Veterinary Clinic) delayed everything so today seemed a much better day to make the draws. The main winners have been emailed and I will contact everyone in the next couple of weeks to let them know their prizes. Well done everyone!
Gary has been working really hard over the last few weeks refurbishing the clinic in Teddington. There will be delays I have heard today that the doors, x-ray door and tub table, which is stuck in the Mid-Atlantic will not arrive on site until the end of January. It gives me plenty of time to get everything in order for the grand opening. I am so pleased with how everything is looking. It is going to be an amazing space to care for the pets of Teddington.
